Hike up to the beautiful and very intriguing channels formations via the Brumley Mtn Trail. Get the chance to walk through the maze of tunnels cut out by eroding sandstone and experience an almost cave like ecosystem and climate. One of the most unique geological sites in the area. Due to popularity, We recommend a weekday (if possible) if you prefer a less crowded trip.

Choose from two half day and one full day tours, all of them visiting an incredible view from white rocks overlook. Have lunch or a snack while enjoying the beautiful view from the rocks. The high rocks trail has a difficulty rating of 3 and the spur trail a rating of 4.
Grayson highlands state park

Choose hikes on the Rhododendron Trail, Horse Trail North, and AT . Journey through the heart of Grayson Highlands State Park, passing through all of the best scenery and views the highlands have to offer. Plenty of opportunities for photography, wildflower and pony viewing, and time to unwind/relax among the amazing views. Trek over Stone and Pine Mountains. The entire park is between 4000-5000 ft (1219-1575 m) elevation.

Choose from a 3 or 9.5 mile trek up to the pinnacle firetower for an outstanding view of the Unaka Mountains along the Tennessee/North Carolina border. The firetower is easily accessible for a great view. Snacks and/or lunch served at the firetower.

Hike to one of the best views in our area on top of Holston Mountain. Choose from the 3 mile steep, challenging Flint Mill Trail, or an 8 mile moderate route on the Holston Mountain Trail out to this gorgeous view of South Holston Reservoir.

Take the 3 mile out and back to the view from “The Butt” tip of the mountain range. Beautiful wildlife management area and pristine mountain lake for photos and wildlife viewing.
Buffalo mountain (5 miles)

Take the 5 mile loop around Buffalo Mountain Park. Great trail for viewing wildflowers, amphibians, and reptiles. Also experience a great view of Roan and Unaka Mountains from the White Rock overlook.
